I worked in trauma care for several years. My roles have consisted of helping families of mental and situational crisis interventions. This has caused me to build a safe and empathetic space for my clients to explore their concerns, and find ways to face obstacles together. I specialize in seeing couples, individual adults, families, and teens.

I am a person centered therapist. I bring art, talk, music and mindfulness into the therapy sessions, depending on the need of the client. I rotate through any of these modalities in sessions based off the goals and needs in that moment for a client to experience attunement and the opportunity to expand their window of tolerance.

My client can expect me to create a space where I can get to know them and they can get to know me. My clients have stated that they appreciated my devotion to them or their family when it comes to helping them through hardships. My clients will experience connection, humor, self reflection, and advocacy in our sessions.

Credentials

Personal Interests

When I step out of the therapy room, you’ll discover my passion for all things Disney and travel. Whether it’s diving into fiction books or going on a historic tour in Italy, these pursuits not only bring me joy but also enrich my understanding of the world. Building a relationship is at the core of my approach, and I’m excited about the chance to deepen our connection as we embark on this journey together.

Positions

I’ve always been passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges. Becoming an LPC was a natural path for me as I wanted to make a positive impact on people’s lives. I’ve lived in Missouri, Illinois and now Texas, and I’m actively involved in volunteering in several organizations. One important aspect of my personal journey is that I worked in trauma care for several years. My roles have consisted of helping families of mental and situational crisis interventions. This has caused great grounds for me to build my therapy style. I believe in creating a safe and empathetic space for my clients to explore their concerns.
