Hi, I’m Melanie Walsh. I support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and chronic stress by helping them heal at the root and reconnect with a sense of peace and presence. My approach is experiential and integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, somatic, and relational frameworks. I have experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, and I especially enjoy supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, immigrants, parents, and creatives.
Melanie Walsh, LCSW
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
I help individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and chronic stress to heal from the past and find greater peace and fulfillment in the present. I enjoy working with people who feel ready for change and want to address challenges at their root, not just the surface. My experience includes working with children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds, and I particularly enjoy supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, immigrants, parents, and creative professionals.
My therapeutic approach integrates psychodynamic, somatic, and relational frameworks. I work experientially, focusing on what arises in the present moment, whether a thought, feeling, or physical sensation, as a path to deeper healing. I am also a student of Somatic Experiencing, a body-centered method for processing and resolving trauma.
