I bring more than two decades of experience serving individuals, children, adolescents, and families across a variety of clinical, community, healthcare, and child welfare settings. My extensive professional background includes work with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Texas Workforce Commission, healthcare organizations, and children’s advocacy programs. These experiences have equipped me with a unique understanding of trauma, family systems, child welfare, behavioral health, substance use recovery, and community-based care. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a deep commitment to helping vulnerable populations heal, grow, and thrive.
During the intake session, patients can expect an introductory meeting focused on paperwork, background history, and establishing collaborative goals for future treatment.
I have a heart for service, compassion for others, and demonstrate commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. I hold my patients accountable for their poor choices in a non-judgmental and non-punitive manner. I possess a quiet yet assertive demeanor that allows for easily building rapport with patients and families. I see past the patient’s presenting issue that required treatment; and treat the presenting symptom with unconditional positive regard for the patient as a person.
