My name is Jackie, and I’m excited to connect with you. As you explore my background and the way I work, it’s crucial that you feel confident in choosing the right practitioner for your journey. I’m here to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where we can collaboratively navigate your unique experiences.
Jackie Rodriguez, LMSW
- Work best with: Adolescents, Adults, LGBTQ+ Community
- Manage Medications: No, provides therapy only
My therapy style is relaxed, curious, and silly. I use narrative therapy, existential therapy, sensorimotor psychotherapy and motivational interviewing the most. They weave together very well, as the narratives of our lives directly affect what we believe, how we view ourselves, and how we act.
Past patients have presented with dissociative issues, self-worth/self-image issues, family conflict, chronic suicidality, reality testing, and navigating mental health stigma. They have shared that the way I care for them is held with extreme respect and care. They’ve said that I’ve met them in their mental health journey in a way they hadn’t experienced with past providers.
New patients can expect us either reviewing a previously completed intake assessment or working through one together; we will highlight the primary reason you are starting therapy and build up the web of interconnected experiences. We will also get to know each other and build up the comfort in the space. If this is what you’re looking for, please reach out to schedule an appointment.
