Megan has been amazing! She asks great questions to help guide and organize my thoughts without injecting judgements on me.

Ashley Mitchell seems very courteous and professional, I look forward to working with her weekly. After working with her for a few months in maintenance I feel even better than before. She guides me through the process while I talk about my life and plans. Ashley and I have found some new areas to work on, and she has helped me achieve new breakthroughs so I can have more inner peace. She truly excels in helping me manage my relationships.

I’ve been seeing Ashley Mansfield for about 2 months now and I was lucky enough to feel a good counseling connection the first session we had. While it’s ok if you don’t feel like your therapist is a right fit and you want to seek out other options, which has been me multiple times in the past, I’m so happy I was paired with Ashley and it’s going so well. They really took my comments into account about what I needed when pairing me. Ashley has been nothing but great for me and I’m happy to continue my sessions with her. She’s never shamed me, made me uncomfortable and I’ve never felt like skipping a session would be better than going. Thankful for her.

I have had other counseling many times before in my life. I was a bit skeptical of the zoom conference counseling. I’ve had over 10 sessions now with Thomas. I’m very glad I got past my doubts and engaged. I feel like Thomas really takes the time to understand me. I am comfortable, and I never feel judged. I know it comes down to me and executing for myself what we discuss. He’s very patient and also knowledgeable. What can I say? I wanna keep up this therapy. Thank you

I love my counselor, Cristina. I’ve been going to her for years now and I often joke that she’s not allowed to retire ever because I will be seeing her till the day I die. I suffer from PTSD, anxiety, and depression and when I first started sessions with her back in 2019, I was not in a good headspace at all. Now, five years later, I’m in a better space than I have ever been and she’s helped me get through multiple milestones. I can’t recommend her enough.

Questions about getting started in Rockwall

How quickly can I get an appointment at the Rockwall location?

Most new patients are seen within the same week of their first call or online request. Same-day appointments are occasionally available for urgent situations. Call us at (512) 956-6463 or use our online booking portal to check real-time availability.

Do you accept insurance at the Rockwall office?

Yes — we accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, and more. We also offer self-pay and sliding scale rates. You can verify your coverage online or call us and we’ll check your benefits for free.

Can I do telehealth instead of coming in person?

Absolutely. We offer both in-person sessions at our 1010 W. Ralph Hall Pkwy office and telehealth appointments via secure video for patients anywhere in Texas. Many of our patients do a mix of both depending on their schedule.

Do I need a referral to book a therapy appointment?

No referral is needed. You can book directly online or by phone. We’ll ask a few questions to match you with the right therapist based on your needs and insurance. The whole intake process takes about 10 minutes.

Yes, completely. Everything discussed in therapy is protected by HIPAA privacy laws. Information is only shared in very limited circumstances (imminent risk of harm to self or others) which your therapist will explain fully in your first session.
