I've had several therapists throughout the years. I've been to a therapy place with all they wanted to do is pump you full of pills with no counseling that didn't work out for me. My last therapist brought up political ideas on the first time we got together. Deep Eddy has literally changed my life I highly highly highly recommend this place and Alexi is the best thing that happened to me on this side of Heaven

Provider is very patient and caring with my 13-year-old. She has been working through her depression and working on coping skills to help her manage her daily stresses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about getting started in Houston

How quickly can I get an appointment at the Houston location?

Most new patients are seen within the same week of their first call or online request. Same-day appointments are occasionally available for urgent situations. Call us at (512) 956-6463 or use our online booking portal to check real-time availability.

Do you accept insurance at the Houston office?

Yes — we accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, and more. We also offer self-pay and sliding scale rates. You can verify your coverage online or call us and we’ll check your benefits for free.

Can I do telehealth instead of coming in person?

Absolutely. We offer both in-person sessions at our 4119 Montrose Blvd office and telehealth appointments via secure video for patients anywhere in Texas. Many of our patients do a mix of both depending on their schedule.

Do I need a referral to book a therapy appointment?

No referral is needed. You can book directly online or by phone. We’ll ask a few questions to match you with the right therapist based on your needs and insurance. The whole intake process takes about 10 minutes.

Is my therapy confidential?

Yes, completely. Everything discussed in therapy is protected by HIPAA privacy laws. Information is only shared in very limited circumstances (imminent risk of harm to self or others) which your therapist will explain fully in your first session.
