If you are looking for a passive therapist who just nods and asks, ‘how does that make you feel?’, I am probably not the right fit. My approach is active, honest, and collaborative.I specialize in helping individuals master the art of communication and set firm boundaries. We will laugh, we will cut through the noise, and we will build the exact tools you need to make life less complicated and relationships easier to navigate.

In our first session, we will cut through the fluff to look at the big picture of what’s bringing you to therapy, audit your current relationships, and pinpoint your biggest communication or boundary road blocks. While we do have to check off some standard administrative paperwork and history gathering, this intake is ultimately a collaborative, low pressure conversation where you’ll get a real taste of my direct, honest and humorous style. By the end of the hour, we will have a clear, practical roadmap of your goals so we can start making your life and relationships easier to navigate right away.

I have had many patients tell me that our therapeutic relationship has been educational, collaborative and conducive to expanding on the positive human experience. As we navigate through communication and boundaries, they have realized that these two components are vital for healthy living. My patients have told me that I am personable, relatable and funny, which allows for patients to let their guard down and feel more open to exploring difficult topics and engage hard discussions to find growth.
