Hi, I’m Kimberly McGoey, PsyD. I offer a thoughtful, relationship-focused space where you can explore who you are, where you’ve been, and what you want for yourself moving forward. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, which means I believe that real healing happens through reflection, connection, and trust. Whether you’re working through something specific or just feeling stuck, I’ll meet you where you are and walk with you as you deepen your understanding of yourself and your story.

- Appointments: Telehealth only
- Manage Medications: No, provides therapy only
As a psychodynamic and attachment-oriented psychotherapist, I seek to help my patients better understand themselves. I know this journey isn’t easy, and I am here to walk with you down the path to knowing, understanding, and growing. I do this by meeting my patients where they are and mutually agreeing upon goals and what the therapeutic process looks like for them. Whether you are looking for help for a specific issue, such as depression, anxiety, loss, or seeking to explore yourself, I will join with you and help alleviate your pain in order to help you become more aware, integrated, and live a more contented life.
I specialize in treating patients with long-term mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and trauma. Also, I have extensive experience working with patients with personality disorders. I rely on a thorough exploration of the past, your relationships, and views of yourself to understand your present self and issues.
The psychodynamic frame relies heavily on what occurs between therapist and patient, so the therapy process begins by fostering a strong, meaningful, and trusting therapeutic relationship. It is only after this happens that the real deep work can begin. You set the pace, and I’ll join you in this deep, meaningful process of self-understanding.
