- Work best with: Adults, First Responders, Veterans
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
I take a laid-back, approachable style into sessions while remaining focused on helping you make meaningful progress. My goal isn’t just to talk through the challenges you’re facing, but to actively work on changing the thoughts and behaviors that are holding you back. I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and addiction. I also work with couples using the Gottman Method, offering structured, research-backed interventions that improve communication and reduce long-standing resentments.
My therapy style is direct yet deeply compassionate. I believe in being honest and transparent with clients while maintaining a strong foundation of empathy and respect. My work is trauma-focused, helping clients understand how past experiences shape current patterns and providing them with tools to heal and move forward. My background working with veterans and law enforcement helps me connect quickly with people who are used to being guarded or self-reliant.
Clients often tell me they value that I “get it.” I bring a balance of empathy, honesty, and practical guidance that helps people feel both supported and challenged. Many say they appreciate that I’m not afraid to be real with them – that I listen without judgment but also help them see patterns and possibilities they hadn’t noticed before. For many, the work allows them to let go of old patterns driven by trauma and begin responding to life in ways that reflect who they are now – not just what they’ve survived.
From the start, I aim to help you define clear goals and create a path toward real change. I check in regularly to make sure our work feels productive and aligned with what you want from therapy—adjusting our approach as needed to keep the process supportive and effective.

Personal Interests
A fun fact about me — I’m a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. The practice taught me a lot about patience, selfcontrol, and mental strength, which I find connects naturally to the work I do as a therapist.
