Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I’m Michelle, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and I wanted to share a bit about my background and approach. Your comfort and trust are paramount, and I am here to support you in making an informed decision about whether we can work together effectively.
Michelle Flowers, LCSW, LCDC
- Work best with: Veterans, Law Enforcement, First Responders, LGBTQ+ Community
- Appointments: Telehealth only
- Manage Medications: No, provides therapy only
My therapy style is flexible, supportive, and grounded in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space. I meet clients where they are and use different approaches depending on what they need, always aiming to help them feel seen, heard, and empowered to work through whatever they’re facing.
Many of my clients have come in struggling with issues like past trauma, low self-worth, anxiety, depression, and difficulty managing stress. I also commonly see challenges related to unhealthy coping mechanisms, cognitive distortions, burnout, and navigating complex relationships or life transitions.
Clients often say that what sets me apart is my ability to create a space where they feel safe, seen, and not judged—no matter what they’re going through. They appreciate my down-to-earth, honest approach and the way I balance being compassionate with also gently challenging them when needed to support real growth.
