I’m Rebecca Thompson, LCSW. I work with adults navigating grief, depression, anxiety, and the emotional weight of caregiving or chronic illness. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and deeply collaborative. I value the unique perspective each client brings and aim to create a space where healing is built on trust, insight, and meaningful connection.

- Manage Medications: No, provides therapy only
I see therapy as a collaborative process built on trust, honesty, and mutual respect. While I bring clinical experience, empathy, and a grounded presence to each session, I believe you are the expert on your own life. Your insights, strengths, and lived experiences are central to our work together. I’m drawn to working with clients who are open to self-reflection, willing to try new approaches, and ready to engage in meaningful growth, even when the journey feels difficult. Life inevitably brings pain, but I believe we can discover resilience and even transformation in the midst of it.
My clinical focus includes supporting clients through grief, depression, and anxiety. I’m especially passionate about walking alongside those facing long-term or unchangeable challenges, whether that means living with a chronic illness, supporting a loved one through mental health struggles, or navigating the complex emotions that come with caregiving. I work best with clients who are searching for meaning, stability, and emotional clarity in the midst of uncertainty.
I understand that finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and starting therapy often comes with a mix of hope, fear, and uncertainty. My goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely supported. If you’re curious about working together or have questions about the process, I’d love to connect and see how I can support you.
