I take a very eclectic approach to my practice and like to adapt to each person. Everybody is an individual, and cookie cutter approaches just don’t always fit the bill! I like to channel each person’s strengths to help guide them through troubling times. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also utilize CBT, solution-focused, trauma informed care. Coming into therapy can be hard, and I want to make sure you are getting what you need in order to heal, process, and grow!
Whether we are meeting in person or through telehealth, I strive to create an environment that allows you to be unapologetically yourself. I live by the moto: “Everything is figureoutable.” If you feel like we might be a good fit, feel free to schedule a consultation and we can discuss this new journey together further.

Positions
I recently moved to the area from Southwest Missouri where I have spent the past 9 years working in the mental health field in some sort of capacity – starting as a caseworker and moving on up to a therapist role. I am very passionate about what I do and getting to walk alongside people on their journey is such an honor. I knew very early on in life that I wanted to be in a helping profession, but it wasn’t until my last semester of pursuing a degree in psychology where I came across social work. The social work ethics and code of conduct line up perfectly with my own personal beliefs and I have felt right at home in this career path.
