Therapy – all of us have our own definition, belief, opinion, or awareness as to what the journey entails. Whether this is your very first therapy experience or you are simply looking for a new therapist, you hold your own idea of what therapy is. Our world is filled with a colossal amount of uncertainty, which can lead us to feeling stressed, disconnected, and unable to access our truest selves. I believe that through therapy, the uncertainty can become more approachable, which allows us to unveil our genuine form and live a fuller life. No matter what therapy means to you, it focuses on the future you, uncertainty and all.

My approach to therapy is grounded in warmth, presence, and respect for each person’s unique perspective. I work alongside patients to help them gain insight and move forward at their own pace, offering support while also inviting reflection and growth when appropriate. I aim to bring a guiding presence to assist you in understanding yourself more profoundly. I sincerely believe that you are the expert in your needs, true desires, and overall life. This perspective allows me to be collaborative with you and provides the opportunity to be genuine and transparent within our therapeutic relationship. My goal is to walk with clients as they shape meaningful change in their lives.

Patients I work with have brought concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, identity exploration, burnout, and difficulties with boundaries or self-esteem. Often, the common thread is a desire for greater clarity, balance, and a sense of agency in their lives. Therapy is a process that starts with you choosing who you genuinely want alongside you in your journey toward self-discovery, exploration, and enrichment. Credentials

Education

I have always been passionate about helping others navigate life’s challenges. Becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor was a natural path for me, as I wanted to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Within my academic career, I worked as an intern at Northwest Counseling & Wellness Center, focusing on the struggles of addiction in a group format. I have also had the pleasure of working at Capital Area Counseling, where I saw a large diversity of clients and became increasingly familiar with the therapeutic process. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, and completed my Masters degree in Counseling at St. Edward’s University in Austin. As a therapist, I strive to continuously learn and therefore grow as not only a clinician, but as a person.

Personal Interests

I genuinely believe that balance is key, which I try to practice in my personal life! Being born and raised in Austin, I love soaking up the sunshine by swimming, hiking, and exploring new spots around town. On the flip side, you can often find me binge-watching TV with my yellow Lab, Tex, and cooking new recipes with my friends and family.
