My therapeutic space is warm, open, collaborative, and authentic in respect for each person’s unique story. I draw from person-centered and solution-focused approaches to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered to build on their strengths. Together, we focus on practical steps toward meaningful change while honoring the emotions and experiences that shape each client’s journey.

Past clients have been in abusive relationships and we’ve navigated how to find the healthiest and safest path forward. Challenges with boundaries, self-esteem, vocalizing needs/rights and isolation from support systems are commonly paired with domestic violence. Additionally, focusing on the transitional phase from “who you were told you are” to “who you actually are” is a privilege I get to share with my clients.

I’ve had clients tell me that the connection we build is one that happens much faster and more authentically than with other counselors. I always want my clients to feel as though they can be their true self with me and don’t need to hide behind a mask. I am here for the tears and the laughter!

In my practice, I primarily use person-centered and solution-focused therapies, creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. I’m also beginning to integrate elements of Gestalt therapy, which brings a deeper focus on present-moment awareness and the mind-body connection, enriching the therapeutic process.
