I have experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting with people experiencing psychosis, contemplating suicide, struggling with addiction, among others. The hospital setting is difficult for patients and staff, but I’m grateful it offered me the opportunity to work with people during some of the darkest moments of their lives and am a better therapist and person because of it. I feel comfortable working with depression, anxiety and have an interest in working with individuals who have experienced religious trauma. I work with kids, adolescents, and adults. I am an LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent affirming therapist and, overall, will strive to be person-centered, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed in my work with you. I will also bring my warmth, openness, and playfulness into the therapy room for our work together!

I am uniquely in training to become both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Drama Therapist. Drama Therapy is an embodied and experiential form of therapy that you don’t need acting experience to engage with. It uses projection, embodiment, and role play to yield insight and transformation. My approach is based in role theory, a drama therapy theory that sees people as multifaceted beings who can sometimes get locked in certain life roles. The goal of role-oriented therapy is to help individuals expand the amount of roles they have access to in life in order to experience more flexibility in their life and relationships.

I know that Drama Therapy is new to most people and not everyone will be interested in experiencing it. My #1 priority is to ensure that the approach we agree upon for our work together is something you feel really good about. I am able to offer exclusive talk therapy, drama therapy, or a mix of both. My ultimate goal is to walk alongside you as a guide to help you connect with your own inner wisdom, growth, and expansion. I look forward to connecting with you!
