Are you tired of being judged? Are you tired of being disappointed by the same routine over and over again? Do you wish that there is someone to listen to you without that feeling of guilt and disappointment? Then you’ve come to the right place. In this space, there is no judgment, there is no right or wrong. There is only room for hope, joy, and understanding. Together, we will dive into every and all aspects of what’s troubling you. We will explore those nights when you just can’t seem to sleep. I am here for you in this troubling time of just not knowing what is going on. I am here to help you smell the roses and start.
My training has taught me many skills, but I prefer to have my patients choose what best modality suits them in this therapeutic journey. Some of my personal favorites are Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Collaborative Therapy, ACT therapy, and Narrative Therapy. My patients can expect a listening ear during our intake session. I usually read any information they give me, but I know that life can get hectic and hard, so I want to hear from them what we should work on. From there, we will develop goals and steps on what they can do to ensure an easier life. It’ll be “their mission” to do fulfill until our next session.
As a therapist, I am open to working with everyone as I believe everyone could benefit from therapy. I bring enhanced knowledge and cultural humility to those BIPOC/LGBTIQA+ individuals, kids, and couples. I am also bilingual and can work with you and your family in communication and creating new perspectives for a new, deeper understanding of each other.

Personal Interests
My origin story started when I worked as a Youth Care Worker the summer after I graduated college. I was unsure of what I wanted to do with my life and with my career, but I knew that I wanted to help people. So, I used my resources and decided to talk to one of my old high school teachers, whom I felt that knew me genuinely and whole heartily, to help me figure out what I should do. She suggested that my path may be to help people through therapy, and together, we explore how my future could be becoming a LMFT.
Growing up in Houston, I never thought that therapy is useful. As a Afro-Latina, I was taught that therapy “is for the weak”, that “we didn’t need therapy…we could fix ourselves”, etc… Yet, I see now that I was mistaken, as I learn more and more about mental health and its importance to many. Therapy has encouraged many to break free from their worries just by lending a helping hand. Therapy has motivated those to begin their journey towards their desired future. Therapy has overall improved our understanding of ourselves and others.
Yet, I am not just a therapist! I am also a foodie who loves to explore local restaurants and explore new events happening around Houston. I am also a coffee and tea connoisseur and will always try out new recommendations. My current tea interest is Blackberry Sage Tea with Honey. For entertainment, I watch various types of slice of life anime such as SpyxFamily and Jujutsu Kaisen and read fictional books to help spark my creativity.
