I have many years of experience working in the child welfare system, with a primary focus on familial sexual abuse and familial sex trafficking. My private practice experience is mainly with couples, focusing on infidelity, sex, and communication. I have worked with many clients, both individuals and couples, who identify as LGBTQ+. This work is very important to me, and I have been working with this community since the beginning of my career.
My therapy style is guided by the client. I use a variety of methods with each client that allow them to be the professional of their own lives. I tend to be upfront and fairly blunt in my therapy style. I believe that our time together is valuable, both time-wise and money-wise, and that we need to make the most out of it. I do not use a “sugar-coated” approach, most times, when working with my patients.
Patients have said that they have a better understanding of who they are and what it is that they are trying to achieve. They have reported having a better relationship with their own wants, needs, and goals.

Personal Interests
I love the beach but hate the sand. I love a good meal and a glass of red wine, with family and friends. Seeing other’s laughing and having fun is one of my greatest joys in life. I feel that paper towels are one of life’s greatest inventions.
