Hi, I’m Kelsey Gibbs, LCSW. Therapy with me is about real conversations, honest reflection, and figuring things out together. I work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, self-esteem issues, and more. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in practical approaches like CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe in showing up as my authentic self and creating a space where you can do the same. If you’re ready to start sorting through what’s weighing you down, I’m here to help you take that next step.
Kelsey Gibbs, LCSW
- Appointments: Both in-person and telehealth
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
My greatest passion is helping others become their best selves through a nonjudgmental approach. I pursued my academic journey in Social Work at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri, where I earned both a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Master of Social Work. It was during this time that my love for the mental health field began to grow and flourish, ultimately leading me to obtain my clinical social work license.
As a therapist, I use a goal oriented and collaborative approach with therapy, including structured and skills based training. I find it important to build a strong rapport with each patient and use effective communication. Past patients have struggled with anorexia/over exercise, chronic anxiety, poor self esteem, life transitions, postpartum anxiety/depression, chronic illness, relationship concerns, and perfectionism. During our time together, they’ve developed improved self awareness, positive self esteem, skills based improvements (coping skills, effective communication, conflict management), reduction in negative/maladaptive behaviors, and completion of their therapy goals.
It would be my pleasure to help you on your journey to self-wellness. Beyond my work as a clinician, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, reading, traveling, and spending time in nature. I believe that it is important to practice what you preach, and I want you to know that I have been in your shoes.
