- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
A lot of my clients are struggling with interpersonal challenges in their relationships and family, they may also present with difficulties feeling good about themselves or optimistic about their future. Many also struggle to get a good night’s sleep and this may be affecting their functioning during the day. Most are experiencing some degree of impairment either at work, school, or in their personal lives.
My therapy style focuses on utilizing skills and interventions for empirically based treatments. However, I also take into consideration what is going on in the client’s life and what they want to focus on in treatment. My patients have said they like that I’m a pretty direct therapist. I challenge them and encourage them to challenge themselves. My patients also report that they have gained insight and confidence in themselves and their ability to handle hurdles and struggles in life.
