Hi I’m Rachel Jenks, LPC. I work with children, adolescents, and families navigating the emotional impact of trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. With a background in treating PTSD, ADHD, autism, and attachment-related concerns, I bring a warm and flexible approach to therapy. I use creative, evidence-based techniques that meet each client where they are, supporting emotional healing, self-expression, and stronger family connections.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families facing trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and attachment-related challenges. I have experience supporting young clients with PTSD, complex trauma, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and emotional regulation difficulties. I aim to help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered as they build their skills to thrive.
My approach is warm, creative, and personalized. I use a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Trauma-Focused CBT, EMDR, Play Therapy, and expressive arts. I often incorporate mindfulness and somatic techniques, and I enjoy weaving in each client’s interests to make sessions more engaging and effective. Whether through storytelling, hands-on activities, or simple conversation, I aim to meet each client where they are and help them move forward with confidence.
From the very first session, I focus on building trust and connection. I work closely with families to support open communication and collaboration throughout the therapy process. Clients and parents often share that they feel genuinely seen, supported, and encouraged in our work together. I believe healing begins with feeling truly understood, and I strive to create that experience in every session.
