My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and empathic, and I tailor treatment to meet clients’ unique needs by integrating psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches. I aim to empower and help clients to create meaningful change through encouraging exploration, gaining insight into experiences, processing relevant concerns, identifying obstacles to personal growth, and cultivating new behaviors and patterns. I value the unique identities, background and experiences that each client brings. My work with children incorporates play to help them enjoy and engage in the therapeutic process, and work through the underlying emotions and concerns they may have.

Entering therapy is a big step, and it takes courage to seek support and begin the journey toward a more fulfilling life. During the intake session, we’ll begin by getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions about what brings you to therapy, your personal history, and any goals or hopes you have for our work together. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions, share what feels important, and get a sense of whether the therapeutic relationship feels like a good fit. From there, we’ll collaborate on a path forward that feels aligned with your needs and values.
