Hi, I’m Sarah Helms, LCSW. I work with adolescents and adults who are facing anxiety, OCD, trauma, and significant life transitions. I also have experience supporting children, families, and parents through emotionally challenging periods. My approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration. I help clients develop practical skills to manage intense emotions, break free from limiting thought patterns, and build greater emotional resilience.

- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
I specialize in treating adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, OCD, and the impact of trauma. I can help you learn valuable skills to cope with overwhelming emotions and identify unhealthy thought patterns that are keeping you stuck. I also have experience working with children, families, parents, and individuals going through significant life changes.
My empathetic personality allows me to create a safe and comfortable environment for self-reflection. My approach is person-centered and I pull from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including CBT and EMDR. I have received training in Exposure and Response Prevention and enjoy helping clients to reduce the impact of OCD on their functioning.
I genuinely enjoy equipping clients with the tools to help them regain control over their lives. My goal is to help you identify areas in your life where you would like to make changes and work toward achieving those goals.
