Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I’m Tori, LPC-Associate and I wanted to share a bit about my background and approach. Your comfort and trust are paramount, and I am here to support you in making an informed decision about whether we can work together effectively.
Tori Shapiro, MS, LPC-Associate
supervised by Laurence Saputra, LPC-S (she, her)
- Work best with: Young Adults, Adults
- Appointments: Both in-person and telehealth
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
I am very person centered meaning that the patient is my entire focus. Patients can expect to laugh, cry, feel seen and heard, but most importantly they can expect to have someone in their corner rooting them on with empathetic and compassionate guidance, which will hopefully allow them to feel less alone or isolated within their struggles.
Patients have said that for even some, the first time in their life, they felt seen and heard. As well, they have felt validated and have felt support when they have not received it before. Patients have said they have gained tremendous self-growth and the tools to believe in themselves again and feel confident to take on life challenges in a much healthier way.
