Doctoral Internship Program Overview
Core Values & Internship Alignment
Connectedness & Community
We believe clinicians grow best in a nurturing environment that fosters belonging, collaboration, and mutual care.
Internship Values That Align:
- Cohort Model: Interns move through the year with a small group of peers, fostering mutual support and shared learning.
- Mentorship Culture: Interns receive ongoing supervision and mentorship from experienced psychologists and clinical leaders.
- Integrated Team Culture: Interns are embedded in a large, thriving group practice where they are fully included in staff meetings, social events, and community initiatives.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We are committed to anti-oppressive work and creating healing spaces for individuals affected by systemic injustice and trauma.
Internship Values That Align:
- Culturally Responsive Supervision: Supervisors support interns in navigating issues of identity, privilege, and systemic harm.
- Affirming Environment: Interns are invited to bring their full identities to the training experience and are supported in developing an authentic, inclusive clinical voice.
- Focus on Social Justice: Interns are encouraged to engage with multicultural literature, training, and clients from diverse backgrounds.

Training and Growth
We are dedicated to developing both the professional skills and personal insight needed to thrive as a clinician.
Internship Values That Align:
- Depth-Oriented Therapy Training: Interns learn to practice therapy with presence, insight, and attunement across individual, couples, and group modalities.
- Ongoing Didactics & Case Consultation: Interns receive structured weekly training across topics such as trauma, attachment, mindfulness, ethics, and somatic therapy. A variety of weekly specialized consultations are available to interns.
- Self-of-the-Therapist Work: Interns are supported in exploring their own patterns, countertransference, and clinical identity development.

Deep Healing & Compassion
We are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our clients—and to extending that same care to our trainees.
Internship Values That Align:
- Supervision That Heals and Guides: Supervisors prioritize intern well-being and use feedback with care, curiosity, and warmth.
