My therapy style is collaborative, integrative, and patient-centered, blending evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT-informed skills, and trauma-informed care. I focus on building insight, emotional regulation, and practical coping strategies while honoring each patient’s values, strengths, and readiness for change. I have over 20 years of experience in psychotherapy, with specialized training in trauma-informed care, faith-based counseling, addiction recovery, ADHD, and working with high-stress populations such as veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples.
Patients can expect a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment. Patients often say that what sets me apart is my ability to integrate evidence-based therapy with a deeply compassionate and personalized approach, honoring both their emotional and spiritual needs. They frequently note my skill in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can explore difficult emotions, gain insight, and build practical coping strategies.
My goal is to offer a safe, affirming, and respectful space where patients feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal. Many patients have shared that, through therapy, they’ve learned to care for themselves with compassion, felt genuinely heard, and gained the confidence to move forward. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey.
