My demeanor and approach are both interactive, attentive, and warm. I believe in full expression of emotions coupled with active listening can build safety and trust. The goal of therapy is to help you heal, discover yourself, get out of the shadows of your past that can help you change the course of your life. I would be your biggest cheerleader! I honor the space and intention that comes with sharing energy and thoughts in sessions.

My therapeutic style is engaged, compassionate, and patient-centered. I prioritize building strong rapport early in the therapeutic relationship, creating a space where patients feel seen, heard, and supported. I approach each session with warmth, encouragement, and genuine curiosity, tailoring the work to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.  Many patients share that they felt genuinely supported, heard, and safe throughout our work together. Many express appreciation for the strong therapeutic relationship we built and highlight how this foundation allowed them to explore painful or complex emotions they had previously avoided.

Patients often share that what sets me apart is my ability to create a deeply compassionate, nonjudgmental space where they feel both safe and truly understood. They frequently mention my engaged and down-to-earth presence, combined with a genuine care for their well-being. What many find unique is my balance of empathy and directness-I’m not afraid to gently challenge patterns that may be holding patients back, while also providing consistent support and encouragement. My openness to exploring spirituality, diverse belief systems, and individualized paths to healing allows patients to feel seen in their full identity.

Personal Interests

When I’m not in the therapy chair, you can usually find me dancing around the house, hitting the slopes for some snow skiing in the winter, or soaking up quality time with my cat (who definitely thinks she runs the place). I’m also passionate about helping those in recovery from addiction—it’s work that truly lights me up.
