I’ve had such a great experience with this company. From scheduling my first appointment, to reminder emails/texts, and easily accessible portal. My therapist Jalynn has been amazing, and has made my first time in therapy really smooth and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone seeking help. They also have an array of therapists who offer different kinds of practice and experience.

I worked with Lexi Patrick (remotely) for over a year, and had an amazing experience. With her help, I was able to make huge, transformative progress on the issues that brought me to therapy in the first place, and afterwards tackle bigger, (scarier) challenges that I either hadn't felt comfortable talking about with other therapists or decided I wanted to address after working with Lexi! She helped challenge me to do the hard work needed to get what I wanted to achieve from therapy, while always making our sessions a safe space. They are also such a lovely, kind person! It was wonderful to have a therapist who made me feel understood when I talked about nerdy stuff. I highly recommend them to anyone who thinks they might be a good fit!!

Had my 1st session with them yesterday and so far, I really enjoy using their services. They make everything easy and take care of the insurance side easily. Scheduling was easy, but I wish it were possible to do without having to make a phone call for people who get anxiety with phone calls. I did a zoom session and that was super easy. My counselor Jalynn is relatable and so validating, but also so real. I’m really looking forward to getting myself sorted out with her. Only other thing that prevented the 5 stars was the website. When filling out the patient forms on my phone, it kept logging me out in the middle of typing my answers. Also, it would be nice if we could see our “completed” forms - once you submit them, they disappear.

I have never been a fan of counseling but wanted to try one last time. My counselor Bri is great. I have only had my first session but I did feel good after our talk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about getting started in Downtown Austin

How quickly can I get an appointment at the Downtown Austin location?

Most new patients are seen within the same week of their first call or online request. Same-day appointments are occasionally available for urgent situations. Call us at (512) 956-6463 or use our online booking portal to check real-time availability.

Do you accept insurance at the Downtown Austin office?

Yes — we accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, and more. We also offer self-pay and sliding scale rates. You can verify your coverage online or call us and we’ll check your benefits for free.

Can I do telehealth instead of coming in person?

Absolutely. We offer both in-person sessions at our 508 Deep Eddy Avenue office and telehealth appointments via secure video for patients anywhere in Texas. Many of our patients do a mix of both depending on their schedule.

Do I need a referral to book a therapy appointment?

No referral is needed. You can book directly online or by phone. We’ll ask a few questions to match you with the right therapist based on your needs and insurance. The whole intake process takes about 10 minutes.

Is my therapy confidential?

Yes, completely. Everything discussed in therapy is protected by HIPAA privacy laws. Information is only shared in very limited circumstances (imminent risk of harm to self or others) which your therapist will explain fully in your first session.
