Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of patients. Still, my current focus is on helping individuals navigate life transitions, adjustment challenges, ongoing stress, anxiety, depression, and unresolved trauma, particularly when current life demands make it challenging to address trauma as the central focus. I also work with both men and women around identity, emotional wellness, and relational concerns, and I hold a special place for those navigating the complex experience of infertility. In addition, I’ve spent many years as an affirming ally to the LGBTQ+ community and have valued the opportunity to support first responders through the unique challenges they face.

I have a relaxed and laid back approach to therapy that is eclectic and integrative, mostly blending cognitive behavioral and person centered therapies. I do not follow a strict plan of any one modality and shift focus to any immediate stressors or problems as they come up.

I believe establishing rapport is key to patients to feel safe, accepted, and a place where you can feel free to talk about anything. I accept people where they are at in life, acknowledging that whatever prompts someone to seek out therapy is never easy. Background information will be gathered and initial goals will be set.
