I approach each person with openness and deep respect for their unique background, values, and experiences, always mindful of the cultural and social contexts that shape their lives. When appropriate, I incorporate humor as a way to build rapport, lighten difficult moments, and foster a sense of resilience and perspective. My goal is to walk alongside my clients with empathy, curiosity, and authenticity—supporting growth with compassion and care.

Many of the clients I’ve worked with have faced significant challenges, including resistance to change, limited or absent family support, lack of community and social connection, and experiences of complex trauma. These difficulties often show up in different ways and can deeply impact a person’s sense of safety, identity, and resilience.

My therapeutic style is grounded in warmth, respect, cultural sensitivity, and a healthy dose of humor. You’re welcome to ask questions, share any preferences or concerns, and let me know what’s important to you in a therapeutic relationship. I strive to make the intake feel like a conversation rather than a checklist, and I bring the same warmth, respect, cultural awareness, and even a bit of lightness that I carry into all of our sessions. If you think we would be a good fit, please reach out to schedule an appointment.
