I have had many different providers (due to moving to many different states), but this is my favorite practice. My treatment plan is thorough, consistent, and easily understood, but also WARM, which a lot of psychs miss! They are nonjudgmental and take their time with you. I’ve had psych appointments last less than 5 mins at other practices, if you can believe that lol. I’ve also never had any problems refilling my medication— that’s another big thing other practices miss. My meds are always sent on time and they are correct dosage. Also, every single employee I’ve been in contact with is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their hiring manager needs an award!! My only gripe is that I think the patient portal UI could be better. Lol.

Laurie Gamble is an incredible therapist. She helped me heal from motor tics that I thought I’d have forever, and truly changed my life. Compassionate, skilled, and genuinely caring. I can’t recommend her enough.

Deep Eddy matched me with the perfect therapist! I absolutely love Laurie and she is exceptional at her job! I look forward to our sessions and get sad when I am unable to schedule one weekly! Laurie cares deeply but also challenges me which is exactly what I asked of deep eddy when they were trying to match me. I also wanted to make sure I got someone who was most similar to my life experience and they nailed it! :) Deep eddy also makes it easy to pay invoices, I like how updated their system is!

Ive had a good experience with Deep Eddie. Registration was easy, they connected me with a therapist quickly and has been a good match. Its been very helpful and I look forward to my sessions, which I do virtually.

I have only good things to say about my experience with Deep Eddy Psychotherapy. The staff was so patient during an anxious time but also persistent to make sure I got all the paperwork turned in on time. Ricky Mitchell's care was remarkable in terms of knowledge base, openness and curiosity to understand and problem solve, compassion, relatability. I never felt like he was rushed but instead felt very cared for. He asked me about my goals and made it clear he understood and allowed me to be a part of treatment planning. 5+ stars! Thanks to the whole team at Deep Eddy!

Questions about getting started in Round Rock

How quickly can I get an appointment at the Round Rock location?

Most new patients are seen within the same week of their first call or online request. Same-day appointments are occasionally available for urgent situations. Call us at (512) 956-6463 or use our online booking portal to check real-time availability.

Do you accept insurance at the Round Rock office?

Yes — we accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, and more. We also offer self-pay and sliding scale rates. You can verify your coverage online or call us and we’ll check your benefits for free.

Can I do telehealth instead of coming in person?

Absolutely. We offer both in-person sessions at our Chisholm Trail Road office and telehealth appointments via secure video for patients anywhere in Texas. Many of our patients do a mix of both depending on their schedule.

Do I need a referral to book a therapy appointment?

No referral is needed. You can book directly online or by phone. We’ll ask a few questions to match you with the right therapist based on your needs and insurance. The whole intake process takes about 10 minutes.

Is my therapy confidential?

Yes, completely. Everything discussed in therapy is protected by HIPAA privacy laws. Information is only shared in very limited circumstances (imminent risk of harm to self or others) which your therapist will explain fully in your first session.
