Hello, I’m Ksenia Kopeikin, PhD. I’m excited to connect with you and share a bit about myself and my approach. As you explore my background and the way I work, it’s crucial that you feel confident in choosing the right practitioner for your journey. I’m here to provide a supportive and non-judgmental space where we can collaboratively navigate your unique experiences.
Oxana Kopeikin, PhD
- Work best with: Adults, Medical Professionals, First Responders, Veterans, LGBTQ+ Community
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
My natural approach to people is very humanistic. A core value of mine is to be compassionate, non-judgmental, and accepting toward others. I value authenticity, warmth, and kindness when connecting with my patients. We can work together toward self-exploration, insight, and growth. Such change often happens in a context of a loving and caring relationship with the therapist, and an emotional exploration of significant experiences and relationships. I tailor my approach towards the unique needs and personality of each patient.
My therapy style is warm, compassionate, relational and approachable. I aim to create a safe space where my patients can experience their deepest emotions and be vulnerable without fear of being judged. I always operate out of an assumption that humans are inherently good and doing their best. Patients can expect me to focus on establishing a connection, understand their story a little bit and what makes them “tick”. It’s important to me to make sure a patient feels relationally safe with me, first and foremost.
Past patients have expressed that they’ve gained much better understanding of themselves and their challenges, they learn to self-regulate better, to set better boundaries, to be able to hold complexity, make peace with their past and not believe their core negative beliefs anymore. As well, they have said that my thoughtfulness and curiosity sets me apart. Patients note that they made realizations and connections from working with me that they never made in past therapies. Often it is mentioned how safe they feel with me and how they feel I truly care.

Personal Interests
I am Russian, I’ve lived in Japan and Germany as a kid and moved around the States after immigrating to the US as a teenager. I am a mother to two wonderful human children and a sweet maltipoo named Oreo. I love all things pretty and if I didn’t become a therapist I would have become an interior designer and a professional organizer. I love crafts, nature, travel, reading and hanging out with friends.
