Hi, I’m Lani Hartnett, LCSW. I offer a grounded, relational space where you can explore what’s working, what’s not, and what you want to change. I bring warmth, curiosity, and clinical insight to our work together, and I care deeply about building trust and helping you feel genuinely supported. Whether you’re feeling stuck or simply ready for something different, I’m here to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Lani Hartnett, LCSW
- Work best with: Adults, Couples, LGBTQ+ Community
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re navigating it alone. I aim to provide a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to explore your experiences with honesty and compassion.
While I do not adhere to any modality in its entirety, I pull different pieces from different modalities to create an individualized approach for each patient based on preferences and presenting problems. I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a strong, trusting relationship. When you feel safe enough to show up authentically and embrace vulnerability, real change becomes possible. Our work together can serve as a model for building healthier boundaries, deeper self-awareness, and more fulfilling connections.
With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I have supported children, adolescents, and adults through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, and life transitions. My style is often described as compassionate, affirming, and down-to-earth.
Patients often cite the way that I reframe issues as beneficial as well as providing an unconditionally supportive space to work through concerns. I incorporate a fair amount of humor into my sessions, and enjoy laughing with my patients. I believe my relational approach allows patients to feel more comfortable opening up.
