I am an inviting, bubbly, and compassionate therapist who strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for patients. During the intake session, patients can expect me to ask a lot of questions. I like to explore their primary concerns in depth because I believe it is important to gain a well-rounded understanding of not only the presenting issue, but also the patient as a whole person, including their relationships, social circle, and overall environment.
My patients have shared that they felt truly heard and no longer alone while working with me. One adult patient expressed that they accomplished more therapeutic work with me in three months than they had in over a year with a previous therapist because I was able to understand their culture and language. Parents of my adolescent patients have shared appreciation for how attentive and patient I was with their children, expressing gratitude that I did not give up on them when others had. My teenage patients often shared that they felt they had someone they could trust and talk to freely, while also appreciating the accountability and support I provided regarding their academics and personal growth.
What sets me apart as a therapist is that I really try to balance being warm, lighthearted, and approachable with being direct when it matters. I’ll laugh with patients when they use humor to cope or make jokes about tough situations, because I think that helps build comfort and trust. But I’m also able to shift gears and really focus in on the deeper issues when it’s needed.

Personal Interests
I’m a big Harry Potter fan, definitely more than Lord of the Rings. Right now I’m really into rewatching old early 2000s telenovelas. I’ll usually pick a beach resort over cold mountains, although I do enjoy a good hike every now and then. I have two dogs; a German Shorthaired Pointer and a Great Pyrenees mix who somehow ended up looking like a corgi. I also love dancing whenever I need to shake off a bad mood.
