My approach integrates evidence-based practices, including CBT, ACT, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, Polyvagal Theory-informed interventions, and trauma-informed somatic practices, to help patients build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and foster lasting change. I have a particular interest in the intersection of trauma, the nervous system, chronic pain, and mind-body approaches to healing, including the therapeutic application of yoga and other embodied interventions.
During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and exploring what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant personal history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. The intake is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, determine whether I feel like the right fit, and begin developing a personalized treatment plan that reflects your goals, strengths, and unique experiences.
While every patient’s journey is unique, many have shared that they leave therapy with a greater understanding of themselves, increased self-compassion, and a stronger sense of confidence in navigating life’s challenges. They often describe feeling more connected to their emotions, relationships, and values, with practical tools to regulate stress while also gaining deeper insight into longstanding patterns. My hope is that patients leave therapy feeling empowered, resilient, and equipped with a more authentic and compassionate relationship with themselves.
One aspect that sets my approach apart is my integration of mind-body therapies with an understanding of the nervous system. Together, we explore not only your thoughts and emotions, but also how your body has learned to respond to stress, relationships, and life experiences. I believe that lasting change comes from both insight and experience, we can understand our patterns intellectually, but true healing often occurs when the nervous system begins to experience safety in new ways. As I often tell patients, if we want to experience a difference in our lives, we have to be willing to vulnerably do something different in our approach. My role is to help you do that with compassion, curiosity, and support.

Personal Interests
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll likely find me hiking, exploring a new city or national park, practicing yoga, spending time outdoors with my dogs, or trying a new coffee shop or local restaurant. I love traveling and am always curious about different cultures, people, and perspectives. I also enjoy reading, lifelong learning, and finding ways to integrate psychology, neuroscience, and mind-body practices into both my personal and professional life. I believe laughter, meaningful connection, and moments of awe are an important part of well-being, and I try to bring that same sense of curiosity and authenticity into my work with patients.
