Thank you for taking the first step to your therapeutic journey! I am Jasmine, LPC. I hope this page helps you get a better sense of my therapeutic style and determine whether we are a great fit.
Jasmine Good, LPC
- Work best with: BIPOC, African American/Black Patients, Young Adults, Adults, Couples, College Students, Professionals, Women, Faith-Based/Christian Patients
- Appointments: Telehealth only
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and patient-centered, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where patients feel heard and supported. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to help patients build on their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and make meaningful, lasting changes that align with their goals.
During the intake session, patients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we will discuss what brings them to therapy, their personal history, current concerns, strengths, and goals for treatment. I will ask questions to gain a better understanding of their experiences, answer any questions they have about the therapy process, and work collaboratively with them to develop a treatment plan that meets their unique needs.
At the end of treatment, many patients share that they feel more confident, self-aware, and better equipped to manage life’s challenges. They often report gaining practical coping skills, healthier ways to manage emotions, improved communication, and a greater sense of hope and resilience. Many also appreciate having a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they felt heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. My patients often say that I make therapy feel approachable and comfortable, even when we’re discussing difficult topics. They appreciate that I genuinely care about their well-being, listen without judgment, and create a supportive space where they feel seen, valued, and encouraged.
