Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I’m Dr. Oladunni and I wanted to share a bit about my background and approach. Your comfort and trust are paramount, and I am here to support you in making an informed decision about whether we can work together effectively.
Dale Oladunni, MD
- Work best with: Young Adults, Adolescents, Older Adults, College Students, Professionals, Parents, Men, Women, People from Diverse Cultural Backgrounds
- Appointments: Both in-person and telehealth
- Manage Medications: Yes. Prescribes and manages medication to support your overall mental health goals.
The first visit is an opportunity for me to understand what you’ve been experiencing, what matters to you, and what has brought you to this point. We’ll talk about your current concerns, mental and physical health history, past treatments, and the experiences or circumstances that may be affecting how you feel.
I approach the intake as a conversation, not a checklist. You’ll have space to tell your story, ask questions, and share what has or hasn’t worked in the past. Together, we’ll develop a clearer understanding of what’s going on and a thoughtful treatment plan that fits your needs, preferences, and goals. In addition to medication management, I also utilize Supportive Psychotherapy and Psychoeducation with my patients.
Some patients know exactly what they want help with, while others simply know that something isn’t right. In either case, I help them better understand what they’re experiencing and work with them to identify a thoughtful path forward.
Patients have shared that they value feeling genuinely heard, understood, and involved in their care. Over the course of treatment, my hope is that they gain not only relief from their symptoms, but also a clearer understanding of themselves, their mental health, and what helps them feel and function at their best.
I believe patients should understand their care, not simply be told what to do. I explain my thinking, discuss the reasoning behind treatment options, and encourage questions and honest feedback. My goal is for each patient to feel genuinely heard, respected, and like an active partner in their treatment.
