My therapy style is the unconventional approach where I prefer to use different modalities such as art therapy, rec therapy, music therapy, Sand Tray, etc. Rather than the normal talk therapy approach. I myself am a very visual person, so I do use a lot of toys, fidgets, paperwork, and visuals in sessions. During intake expect a warm and compassionate listening ear, who will explore what brought you into therapy, what your goals are, some strengths and weaknesses and some fidgets incase you start to feel anxiety

My past patients come from all over the states and many have sent back letters after discharge expressing gratitude for being their first therapist who actually got them and understood them at a deeper level. Something a lot of my patients have told me in the past is that they really appreciate my different modalities when trying to see what style works best for them. Many past patients have mentioned that their past therapist would only do talk therapy and they would just lie. Many of my patients have been children so my approach with art therapy has always been an exciting moment for them.
