Hi, I’m Carley Bernardo, LCSW. I am a licensed clinical social worker with focused expertise in trauma and anxiety-related disorders. My clinical approach integrates relational and cognitive frameworks to support adolescents and adults in working through guilt, shame, and complex family dynamics. I prioritize a collaborative, insight-driven process grounded in trust and clinical rigor.
Carley Bernardo, LCSW
- Appointments: Both in-person and telehealth
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
I have significant experience treating a range of diagnoses and specialize in treating trauma and anxiety-related disorders. I work particularly well with clients who are impacted by guilt/shame and who struggle to challenge the thoughts that lead to these feelings. I also work well with those impacted by experiences with their family of origin and/or ongoing conflict within the family system.
My approach involves exploring the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I will help you explore and process the life experiences that have shaped how you perceive yourself, others, and the world. Together, we will work toward identifying and restructuring harmful thought patterns and core beliefs that may be causing distress.
I aim to create a therapeutic environment based on trust, mutual respect, and collaboration. I believe in empowering my clients and will work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your goals. If this sounds like what you are looking for, please reach out to schedule an intake session!
