Hi, I’m Cathi Beresford, LPC Associate. I bring warmth, curiosity, and genuine care to the therapy space, with a special focus on supporting children and their families. I help kids express themselves, build confidence, and develop emotional resilience, while also partnering with parents to create a strong support system. I’m currently training in Child-Centered Play Therapy and working toward credentials in CCPT and Registered Play Therapy (RPT). Whether you or your child are navigating big emotions or life changes, I’m here to support meaningful growth at a pace that feels right.
Cathryn Beresford, LPC
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
I’m passionate about supporting individuals at all stages of life, from children learning to express themselves to adults navigating transitions and challenges. My approach is down-to-earth, warm, and focused on creating a therapeutic space where you feel accepted, supported, and safe.
I have a particular gift for working with children, helping them build emotional awareness, strengthen self-esteem, and develop healthy coping skills. I also work closely with parents and caregivers to support the entire family system, recognizing that growth happens best through connection and collaboration.
I’ve completed coursework in Child-Centered Play Therapy and am actively working toward credentials in both CCPT and Registered Play Therapy (RPT). Whether you or your child are working through stress, big emotions, or life changes, I’m here to walk alongside you because meaningful change happens over time, and therapy is a space where progress, not perfection, is the goal.
