As your therapist, I will always strive to make sure you are met where you are and provide a listening ear. My therapeutic style centers on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I lean on Dialectical Therapy for tracking behavior and learning in depth coping skills. Learning how your thoughts, actions, and emotions link together help you understand yourself to know where to make appropriate changes in your life.

Something that sets me apart from other therapists is my ability to remember little details that could actually be a part of something bigger that wasn’t typically realized. I listen well and make my patients feel heard and understood. I am not one to back down from conflict if something needs to be challenged or you are afraid of facing. I feel my patients would say I’m good at not being biased in any way and can see all perspectives with empathy.

Personal Interests

I am a mom of daughters, 3 years old and 1 year old, as well as a dog lover with two Labrador Retrievers. I am passionate about being outdoors, and kayaking and hiking are my favorite things to do. I love to work out and be in the gym and working hard to put all of these things back into my lifestyle after having to be a mom and that comes first a lot of the time. I am passionate about family time and doing crafts with my girls. I also recognize myself as a Christian, however, understand that keeping that separate in the session is important unless you want those conversations implemented.

The core of our issues come from the things we tell ourselves about the beliefs we have accepted from others. My goal is to provide a space where you can process these negative thoughts and learn skills to correct thinking errors.
