I will meet you with warmth and compassion, as my approach is relational and grounded in authenticity. I integrate psychodynamic, existential, narrative, and systems-based approaches as I guide you through your own internal processing. For those in need of more tangible skill-building, I may incorporate SFBT, CBT, or DBT to assist with emotional regulation, behavioral patterns, or interpersonal abilities.

During an intake session, you can expect a holistic approach as I get to know you, your strengths, and the ways you’re hoping to grow or learn from our time together. I also value the importance of you getting to ask me questions about myself, my therapeutic style, and whether you feel like I would be a good fit for you and your needs.

I am also passionate about considering cultural, racial, and ethnic factors in my work to ensure that you receive care that honors your unique background and experiences. I strive to provide an inclusive space that cultivates all different parts of you. My commitment to ongoing self-education, advocacy, and introspection is essential to my work.

When working with children and young teenagers, I like to include various art or sensory activities to serve as a bridge to their internal world. Through play, creativity, being messy, etc., children can better learn about themselves and the world around them. No matter how young the patient, I believe we are all capable of learning about our emotions, conquering our fears, and growing in how we interact with others.
