My approach integrates CBT/DBT skills, communication skills, support and emotions processing to help patients enhance personal growth and reach therapy goals. These experiences have deepened my understanding of relationship dynamics and the importance of a collaborative, strengths-based approach in promoting lasting change. Patients often say they feel truly heard, understood, and supported throughout our work together. Patient can leave therapy with a deeper understanding of themselves, stronger relationships, and more confidence in navigating life’s challenges. Many may describe our sessions as a safe space where they can find both healing and personal growth.
Patients can expect a relaxed, judgment-free space where we cover confidentiality, communication and policies, as well as get to know each other and talk about what brings them to therapy. My goal is for patients to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful. Many patients tell me that I am approachable and authentic that encourages them to feel at ease opening up about difficult topics. They appreciate that I bring warmth, humor, and genuine connection to our work while still maintaining focus on growth and healing.
I dedicate myself to assisting patients on gaining self-advocacy and confidence within their life and relationships. My hope is for my patients to experience a supportive and non-judgmental environment to have freedom of expression and exploring thoughts and experiences. I hope to talk with you soon!

Personal Interests
I am the 7th “J” name within my family. My partner is from India, and we just had our first child. When I am not wearing my therapist hat, you can find me hanging out with family and friends, playing soccer, being outside with nature, and trying new foods. Whether it’s diving into a new book with my book club or spending time with my child, these pursuits not only warm my heart but also remind me to create a positive and enriching environment for myself and my family. It is important to me to build a safe, positive environment that elicits growth and allows me to maintain a healthy work-life balance. I’m excited about the chance to deepen connections with clients as we embark on a therapeutic journey together.
Positions
I have an immense passion for helping individuals, specifically adolescents and adults, by assisting them to step outside of their comfort zone in order to create positive change and foster healthy relationships. I started my professional journey in a residential treatment center for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders then transitioned to community mental health in the non-profit world. I grew up primarily in the DFW metroplex, but lived throughout the US. Over the past 14 years I have been residing in Fort Worth area completing my Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. I’m actively involved in creating a healthy work life balance as a new parent and counselor. Thus, I believe that it is important to lead by example with my clients while providing a safe and empathetic space for my clients and I to build trust.
