I have experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges, including suicidal ideation, addiction, psychosis, family violence, and the emotional pain of breakups. I’ve worked with clients navigating depression, anxiety, homelessness, and limited access to resources. My time working in hospital settings has been both humbling and empowering, especially in my work with veterans experiencing PTSD and LGBTQ+ individuals facing acute mental health struggles.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while teaching strategies to challenge cognitive distortions through reframing, acceptance, and self-compassion. I emphasize strengths throughout the process to support self-worth and build confidence.

I believe therapy should feel both safe and engaging. I use humor, gentle self-disclosure, and practical tools like handouts and resources to enhance learning and support real-life change. Clients often share that they feel comfortable with me quickly and are able to open up in ways they hadn’t expected. I would be honored to bring that same support to you.
