Hey there, I’m Lauren, LMFT. I’m excited to share a bit about myself and my approach to help you decide if we might be a good fit.
Lauren Jones, LMFT
- Work best with: Females, Teens, Parents
- Appointments: Both in-person and telehealth
- Manage Medications: Provides therapy and collaborates closely with our psychiatry team for medication management, available through internal referral if needed.
I encourage patient feedback throughout the therapeutic process to continuously adapt and maximize the effectiveness of services. When working with children and adolescents, I integrate parent participation through dedicated parent sessions to help families practice and apply specific skills together.
In the first session, I will orient them to the therapy process (what to expect, frequency, etc) and will review housekeeping and admin. I will guide them through a series of assessment questions designed to determine their areas of needs, treatment goals, and assess for a diagnosis.
Past patients have thanked me for all the support I have given, as well as gained coping skills, confidence, and problem solving skills from our time together. Patients would also say I am genuine, energetic and positive.
