As a therapist, I bring a warm, empathetic and non-judgmental presence to our work together, drawing from an eclectic range of therapeutic approaches to meet you where you are. I believe therapy can be both a safe space for compassion and a place for meaningful growth, so I won’t shy away from gently challenging you, going deeper, and exploring what may be beneath the surface when it can help you move forward.

What to Expect During Your Intake Session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you hope to get out of therapy, and some of the important experiences that have shaped you. We’ll also discuss your history, current concerns, strengths and goals, while giving you space to ask questions and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin- we can start wherever you are and work from there.

I believe therapy should feel both safe and honest. I offer a non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are, while also being willing to gently challenge you when it may help you grow. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; I draw from different therapeutic modalities to meet you where you are and tailor our work to what you need.
