I have had a passion for working with people since I became a big sister and have spent the majority of my working and educational life with children and adolescents in various contexts. Most recently I acted as the social work intern at a bilingual pre school helping toddlers learn emotional regulation and social skills.

When it comes to counseling, I take a person-centered and strengths-based approach. You are the expert on your experience and I want to learn with you. I practice very relationally and show up as myself in hopes that you can do the same. I believe there is no “one size fits all” in therapy and supporting whatever stage of progress you are at will take flexibility and creativity.

Credentials

Education

I have my Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in American Sign Language from Colorado State University (go rams!) and am currently working on my Masters in Social Work from University of Texas at Austin. I expect to graduate with my MSSW in July 2027.

Personal Interests

Outside of the office I love being outdoors and moving my body from hiking and swimming to running and picnics. When it gets too hot outside in this Texas heat, I love hanging out with my cat, trying a new recipe (bonus points if it’s something sweet!) and watching movies or basketball if it’s March madness season!
